About Me
I aim to give you the best service
My name is Martin and I began my journey when my Father gave me my first film camera when I was a teenager. It was a cheap Kodak instamatic and to be honest my early attempts were rubbish compounded by a rubbish camera. But I was hooked regardless and so began my journey of improvement.
Initially I was into landscapes and I still love those very much. Nature followed as to be honest I was a bit of a loner possibly because my photographic passion at the time did not include people so I often went where the people weren’t and to be honest I still love those places.
I bought my first “real” camera, a film DSLR when I was about 20 and a year later found myself travelling around Australia with my girlfriend on a photographic journey that I still treasure to this day. That later led to a round the world trip during my progression into digital so I was taking film and digital images and my girlfriend was so patient with me.
About 20 years ago I started photographing people. It didn’t hurt that my girlfriend/wife was called “The Supermodel” by most of my friends and from photographing her in various places around the world I started to see that people were actually interesting (it’s possible I’m a bit slow in some things :)). Expereince shooting with people made me realise I had had a really narrow focus so I started paying attention to other genres. Since than I have been the lead photographer in Adelaide for Air BnB+ which was high end BnB’s, I have done a lot of Food Shoots for Menulog and Just Eats, I have done numerous Real Estate Shoot’s, shot over 8,000 cars and trucks for car dealers, done many events from small parties to large functions, some weddings and lots and lots of Portrait sessions. Additionally I started flying ahigh end drones in 2017 and finally went out and got licensed commercially for them in 2022 so can offer that service as well now.

What areas do you service
I primarily cover the Perth Region within about 45 minutes travel from Midland. Perth is the worlds longest city so I do have to charge travel fees to go further. If Expenses are paid I will go anywhere in the world.
Do you shoot in a studio or outdoors?
I can shoot in either and have a lot of artificial lighting experience but I really do love shooting outdoors the best
What if I want to shoot somewhere like the Pinnacles
I am happy to shoot pretty much anywhere as long as my time is covered. I have done many Pinnacles and Sand dune shoots. I will often meet my clients in the northern suburbs for tthose and go in my vehicle or theirs. It’s a great time to get to know one another and work on ideas.
